For my Exquisite Corpse Soundscape final project I used sounds to help the human body relax and meditate. While working on my soundscape I learned that making music wasn’t as easy as it seemed. Adobe Audition had many choices for editing which took me a lot of time to play around with so I could really understand how it worked. In the future, something I would do differently is take even more time to master adobe audition so that I am not only adding different effects but also making real music. My next goal is to make edm beats because I am a big fan of edm. I enjoy going to both jazz and edm concerts. Personally, for me I find it interesting that I enjoy meditation music but also love listening to really loud music.
Since the very beginning the primary goal was to create a soundscape that would be able to help others relax and meditate. I used sounds such as ice, waterfall, typing, etc to be able to fulfill my goal. I am very proud of my final work and really liked how it turned out. I believe my soundscape is a piece that would not only help me relax and meditate but help others. I used the waterfall sound to allow individuals to picture themselves outside nature with animals. I used the ice sound because after adding an effect on it, it became a very peaceful noise. My goal for my soundscape was to create a peaceful and natureous image in peoples head so when they closed their eyes they felt like they were outside in a safe and loving place. Overall, I really enjoyed this project.
